Bronco bandwagon growing after amazing start...

and who's driving that bandwagon ? This guy right here. Denver is 4-0 and they finally beat a "real team" as some "experts would like to say. All I have to say is aside from Jamarcus Russell the teams they beat have NFL football players on them. Don't get me wrong the Browns are terrible, the Raiders well lets just say that Skeletor is building a real winner in Oakland, and it may have been lucky but the bounce in the " immaculate deflection" went the Broncos way. Good football teams always seem to get "lucky", but good football players (Stokley) just seem to always be in the right place at the right time. Going into last weeks game Denver still had quite a few doubters. A strong defensive showing against what was thought to be a high quality opponent coupled with a big play from a now happy Brandon Marshall and the Mile High City is on cloud nine. Nationally the Broncos are getting some props. You don't just end 4-0 by default you have to play good football and put yourself in a position to win the game. Like it or not this is the new look of the Denver Broncos. At times it can be downright painful to watch the offense dink and dunk down the field, but they don't turn the ball over and they can bust a big play here and there. The defense on the other hand did anyone see this coming ? I know I didn't but I'll take it. Defense win football games it's been that way forever occasionally the offense can out score you (a la The greatest show on turf ) but 9 times out of 10 I'm going with the defense. Denver's D has been nothing short of dominant for 15 quarters of football this season. Shutting down Tony Romo and the Cowboys high powered offense was pretty impressive even if the Boys seem to be a bit soft this season. The beautiful thing about it is that it's not just one or two guys it's the whole unit playing as a team. Josh McDaniels may be young but he has this team playing as exactly that a team. No one man can do it on his own and the Broncos are showing that they are buying into what Mcdaniels is selling. The toughest tests are yet to come for the D.J. Williams and the Denver defense, the Pats, Steelers, and  Chargers to name a few. Will the Broncs be up to the challenge? Who really knows for sure, one thing I do know is it's will be exciting to watch them shut up more people every week.

Ladies and Gentlemen your Denver Broncos...

The Denver Broncos look horrible. Now I have been one those people trying to drink the McDaniel's kool-aid but alas I cannot lie to myself anymore.
Plain and simple the Broncos SUCK. There is no well if they do this, if Orton can do that. Listen very carefully they won't and He can't. The preseason has shown us that while McDaniel's may be a offensive mastermind, He apparently is a really bad teacher. I know "it's a complicated system to learn" but it does not change the fact that the donkeys are lined up wrong, committing penalty after penalty, this all coming before Kyle Orton throws a pick.(the only reason he didn't last night was because he hurt himself.) I thought the defense has looked ok at times but I could throw for a 130 passer rating on the Donkeys and that is just sad. Brandon Marshall (This guy is just plain crazy) is killing his career faster than Brittany Spears and if you haven't noticed the offense needs him on the outside. Marshall is a talent, a stupid, crazy, sometimes the hamster falls off the wheel, childish talent but a talent none the less. Without Cutler the Broncos could have survived, without Cutler and Marshall they are done. Hang it up the season is over before it began the Donkeys will be complete debacle.
So here is to McDaniel and Orton, the great experiment in the west, that is slowly killing one of the NFL's best fan bases. Orton will be lucky if he lasts a year. McDaniel he probably gets 2 years before he is shown a quick and glorious exit. Mr. Bowlen I hope your happy you have gone from a great owner to Al Davis-esque in one off season. I will still root for the donkeys every Sunday I just fear that I may not have very much to root for.
